It’s really just coincidence (unless you don’t believe that there are any coincidences) that two of the most important organizations in our lives have very similar names. The boys’ school program is called Options, and the Option Institute has been an awesome educational experience for Kalen and Dan, but it’s located on the other side of the country, in the southeast corner of Massachusetts.
We're intending to write a nice description of what the Option Institute means to us, and to tell you about the influence the Kaufmanns have had in our lives, but that will come later.
Just as a warmup, we'll post a photo of the wonderful people who attended the Couples Course with us in May, 2001:
